You are free to use the entire home, deck, downstairs patio and the hot tub. The attic is off limits, exceptions will be to check wifi router.

This part of the peninsula is known for its low traffic, open space, and relaxed coastal feel. Homes are more spread out, the beaches are less crowded, and you won’t find the same level of congestion you might experience further down in Crystal Beach during peak weekends and holidays.

The beach here is wide, driveable, and easy to access, making it ideal for long walks, fishing, or simply setting up for the day without feeling packed in next to other groups. It’s a great spot for families or anyone looking for a more peaceful beach experience.

While the area itself is quiet, you’re still just a short drive (10–15 minutes) from Crystal Beach where you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and local shops. Many guests choose to stock up on essentials before arriving so they can fully enjoy the slower pace once they’re here.

Most guests drive, and once you arrive, things slow down. The roads are easy, traffic is light, and you’re never in a rush to get anywhere.

One of the best parts of Bolivar Peninsula is that the beach itself is drivable. With a beach parking permit, you can drive right onto the sand, set up your spot for the day, and keep everything close—no long walks, no hauling gear.

Golf carts are also a popular way to get around. They’re allowed on the beach and throughout the area, making quick trips to the shoreline or cruising the neighborhood easy and enjoyable.

For groceries, restaurants, and essentials, most guests take a short drive toward Crystal Beach. Many choose to stock up ahead of time so they can settle in and enjoy the slower pace once they arrive.

• Rinse off sand before entering (use outdoor shower/hoses)
• Leave sandy shoes outside on the deck

• Only flush toilet paper
• No wipes or hygiene products
• No grease down drains

• No glass in or near the hot tub
• Rinse before entering (no sand, oils, lotions, or self-tanner)
• Max temp: 104°F
• Limit use to 15–20 minutes at a time
• Children must be supervised (no infants)
• No jumping, diving, or rough play
• No soap, bubbles, or additives

AFTER USE
• Put the cover back on
• Do not sit or stand on the cover

ADDITIONAL NOTES
• Do not use during storms or lightning
• If water becomes dirty due to misuse, $100 fee will be applied
• Report any issues immediately (heating, errors, water quality)
